Group One winning sprinter, Shinzig, is yet to represented by a runner, but based on the interest shown in his 2YOs at the Gold Coast yesterday, their appearance won\u2019t be too far away!<\/span><\/div>\n
The Shinzig colt from Time Is Hope \u2013 who breezed up in a scorching 10.63 seconds \u2013 got the ball rolling when he was knocked down to leading Singapore trainer Steve Burridge for $90,000.\n<\/p>\n

Then the immaculately conformed and bred colt from Group One winner Chlorophyll ended the day in sensational fashion when sold to At The Wire Thoroughbreds for $120,000.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIt didn\u2019t come as a great surprise to see the Shinzig colt from Chlorophyll sell so well,\u201d Eliza Park\u2019s Mark Lindsay pointed out. \u201cHe\u2019s been very popular since he arrived on the Coast and plenty of people have pulled him out of the box.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cThe pedigree clearly plays a part, but this bloke is very athletic \u2013 a big, flashy type \u2013 and he looks to be a ready made runner.\n<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\u201cAnd after looking at Robyn Wise\u2019s Shinzig colt (from Time Is Hope) we were confident he\u2019d make good money too. He\u2019s typical of the breed and ran a very good time in the breeze up.\n<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re fairly forward and I\u2019d imagine you\u2019ll be seeing a number of Shinzig\u2019s race before Christmas.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Winner of the CF Orr Stakes (1400m), Shinzig is by legendary sire Danehill from Group One winner and track record holder Shindig.\n<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Interestingly, of the seven Group One winning sons of Danehill (up to 1600m) standing in Australia, six have produced Group One winners in their own right.\n<\/p>\n

If the Shinzig colts sold on the Gold Coast yesterday are anything to go by, we might not have to wait long for the seventh!<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
