{"id":4606,"date":"2009-11-26T07:35:00","date_gmt":"2009-11-26T07:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/archive.rockylhc.com\/2015\/elizapark\/?p=4606"},"modified":"2009-11-26T07:35:00","modified_gmt":"2009-11-26T07:35:00","slug":"super-vobis-rebate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.rockylhc.com\/2015\/elizapark\/super-vobis-rebate\/","title":{"rendered":"SUPER VOBIS REBATE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Victorian incentive scheme, Super VOBIS, has always been innovative and the monies paid out to owners and breeders of eligible horses since its inception has been a massive boon for industry participants.<br \/>And the scheme\u2019s latest initiative smacks of genius \u2026 the ideal solution to a problem that nags at many a nominator.<br \/>Aside from financial constraints, the largest hurdle to \u2018nominate or not to nominate\u2019 has been the question: \u201cWhat if the horse doesn\u2019t race in Victoria?\u201d<br \/>However, as we understand it (and further details will be released tomorrow), is that from the 2008 foal crop onwards, nominated horses which don\u2019t race in Victoria throughout their two- and three-year-old careers (thereby negating any Super VOBIS bonus) will be eligible for a rebate.<br \/>In other words, if the 2008 foal doesn\u2019t start on a Victorian racetrack during the 2010\/11 or 2011\/12 racing seasons, the nominator will be given a rebate to the value of the nomination fee: Category A ($660), B ($1,320) or C ($1,980).<br \/>Brilliant!
