As neurons transmit and encode signals as potential changes across their membranes, neural recording refers to monitoring the potential changes with low-noise amplifiers (LNA). The “NeuLive” headstage contains multiple LNA channels to facilitate the recording of multiple brain regions simultaneously and wirelessly.
