MAGNUS – 2 BECOMES 5 BECOMES 51

Another treble today for Magnus taking his weekend tally to five.

Following victories to Whistle Baby (Flemington) and Flying Magnus (Camperdown) yesterday, Magnus piled on three new winners today with Just Harley and Malaguerra notching up a running double at Cranbourne, while Angus Carolus opened the program with a score at Penola.

Leading throughout, Just Harley (ex. Pleasure Doll by Bureaucracy) won comfortably for breeder, owner and trainer Lyn Tolson, while Malaguerra (ex. Tennessee Morn by Bletchingly) was having his first outing for Wez Hunter and looking very impressive in lobbing by two as hot favourite.

Closely following the day’s trend, Angus Carolus (ex. Curzon Place by Marscay) also led from start to finish and is clearly a stronger horse this time in.

Yallambee’s Christie Woodard is clearly as quick with a calculator as she is with everything else and tweeted Magnus’ current score – 54.3% winners to runners (the best strike rate in the country) and 51 individual winners.
