BEL’S RAMA LAMA DING DONG
Leading trainer Colin Little (below) has unveiled what appears to be a very handy type in the shape of Bel Esprit 3YO, Soosa Rama.
Stepping out for the first time – in the TAB iPad App Maiden over 1000m at Cranbourne – Soosa Rama applied herself very well and absolutely flew home for a easy three length victory.
Soosa Rama is out of the Danehill mare, Make My Dane, who is in turn a three quarter sister in blood to Springsteen and his Golden Slipper winning half brother, Marauding.
Just 40 minutes later across the Bass Strait, Arctic Blitz grabbed his second win in town with a 2.3 length romp at Hobart to give Bel Esprit a double. The 4YO rocketed home from near last on the turn and now has a win and a second in January following a freshen up.
Hoofnote: Eliza Park International based stallions – ie. Magnus and Bel Esprit – took out the first three races on the Cranbourne program today.
