ANYWAYS … ANOTHER LIBERTY
It turned out to be a very big weekend for Statue of Liberty – following on from his Saturday double with Spirits Dance winning the G3 Kevin Hayes at Caulfield and Violets Are Blue scoring at Morphettville, his 3YO filly Anyways Rosie won comfortably on debut at Pakenham on Sunday.
Trained by Shea Eden and out of the stakes placed Commands mare, Anyways Lucy, Anyways Rosie was quickly out of the gates but ended up racing three wide to the home turn. There was a lot to like about the way she applied herself and went on to win in smart time and, according to ANZ Bloodstock News, “should progress to better things”.
