MAGNUS DELIVERS ON CONTRACT
Magnus mare, Valid Contract, became her sire’s 58th individual winner for the season with a cracking effort over 1300m at Sandown on Wednesday.
The David Brideoake and David Feek trained 4YO now has 5 wins and 8 placings from 20 outings, but her Sandown score is probably her best to date.
Out of the stakes winning Take Your Partner mare, Prenuptial, Valid Contract is closely related to Hong Kong G1 winner, Winning Partners and Group winner Moonah Brooke and hails from the family of Marscay.
Magnus, by the by, has three runners in Melbourne stakes events on Saturday: Malaguerra in the Blue Diamond, Magnus Reign in the Oakleigh Plate and last start winner Alpha Beat in the G2 Autumn Classic.
