GOTTA LOVE THE VIEW
It’s been a big few weeks for Ruth Frenzel’s Valleyview, a boutique farm now based at Clarkefield in Victoria.
Only breeding a handful of horses each year, the descendants of Valleyview’s ‘foundation’ mare, Sashimi Express have lobbed with a pair of city winners in the past fortnight: Must Be Love (by Shinzig from Lady Gwendyln by Val Royal) winning at Launceston on 29 January, while Bel Esprit mare, Chiming – a half sister to Lady Gwendlyn – won comfortably over 1400m at Launceston on Wednesday.
Lady Gwendyln and Chiming are daughters of East Meets West, both in turn out of Sashimi Express.
